Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the 9th National Moral Models

Since 2007, the Central Publicity Department, the Central Office of Spiritual Civilization, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission have jointly organized a national selection and commendation event for Moral Models every two years. This initiative has been instrumental in vigorously cultivating and practicing socialist core values, fully leveraging the exemplary role of moral models, promoting traditional Chinese virtues, fostering new trends and positive social norms of our times, and continuously enhancing the ideological awareness, moral standards, and civic qualities of the people. By striving to become practitioners of noble ethics, guardians of civilized conduct, and creators of a better life, we aim to cultivate a robust societal atmosphere characterized by moral integrity, ethical excellence, emulation of virtuous role models, and a commitment to upholding universal moral principles. With approval from central leaders, we are now launching the ninth national selection and commendation event for Moral Models. Relevant details are hereby announced as follows.
