Launch of the 9th National Moral Model Selection and Commendation Activity

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, November 19 — To vigorously cultivate and practice socialist core values, promote traditional Chinese virtues, and foster a new ethos that reflects the spirit of our times, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Office of the Central Commission for Guiding Spiritual Civilization, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission recently issued the "Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the Ninth National Moral Models" (the full text will be released separately) along with implementation guidelines. This move marks the launch of the selection and commendation process for the ninth National Moral Models. The document emphasizes the importance of widely promoting learning activities centered around these role models, encouraging people to admire, emulate, and strive to become moral exemplars themselves.
