The differences between acrylic and plastic are as follows:
  1. Acrylic, also known as organic glass, is manufactured through either casting or extrusion processes and tends to be slightly more expensive. 2. Plastics are a type of high-molecular-weight compound, also referred to as resins, capable of being reshaped. Their primary component is resin, along with additives such as stabilizers and lubricants.
  3. Products made from acrylic are generally more transparent, even surpassing the transparency of glass. In contrast, plastics cannot match this level of clarity—they tend to have a duller coloration and lack the vibrant brilliance of acrylic, which offers a wider range of vivid and eye-catching hues.
  4. Acrylic sheets exhibit excellent printability and sprayability. With the appropriate printing and spraying techniques, acrylic products can achieve desirable surface decoration effects.

Expanded. Plastic is a type of synthetic resin that resembles natural resin, such as pine resin, and is artificially synthesized through chemical processes, hence the term "plastic."
