How to Cut Acrylic Sheets

　　Place the ruler firmly on the acrylic sheet to be cut, and use a clamping knife to carefully score a thin, straight groove along the surface of the acrylic. Position the acrylic sheet—with the scored groove facing upward—onto the workbench, ensuring it aligns perfectly with the right-angled edge of the bench. Once properly aligned, apply gentle but steady downward pressure, and the acrylic sheet will swiftly and cleanly separate along the pre-scored line. 
　　Typically, an acrylic sheet should be cut using a hook knife. Before cutting, it is essential to carefully plan the cutting process to avoid any mistakes. 
　　When cutting, everyone should first put on cut-resistant gloves. Then, place a steel ruler or similar tool on the opposite side of the cutting mark line and use a hook knife to make the cut along the designated line. If the cutting position of the board has uneven surfaces or irregularities, you can smooth out the cut edge by sanding it with sandpaper.
